Chris Uhl is a nurse practitioner at Ochsner Health. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and obtained a master's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Mr. Uhl completed his clinical training and internship at Mississippi State Hospital, gaining experience in adult, geriatric and forensic psychiatry. Upon completion of his training, he became board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. At Ochsner, he focuses primarily on the treatment of mood, anxiety and stress-related disorders. He believes in a holistic approach to care and has a special interest in integrating health and wellness measures into each plan of treatment.
