Dr. Claire Burns received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University (LSU). She completed her clinical internship at Nationwide Childrens Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Burns is currently licensed in the state of Louisiana as a clinical psychologist. She specializes in assessment and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences. She conducts psychological evaluations, parent and family training, and individual therapy for those with neurodevelopmental differences at the Boh Center for Child Development at Ochsner Hospital for Children. Dr. Burns is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming services to underserved communities.
