Claire L. Hess earned her undergraduate degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL and her graduate degree in communication disorders in 1987 from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. She has been on staff as an audiologist at Ochsner Clinic since 2000. Claire is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She received Academic Scholar Awards for excellence in continuing education. Claire's primary audiological interests are in diagnostic assessments and cochlear implants. In her free time, Claire is an active volunteer in our community.

Claire completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at Browne-McHardy Clinic in Metairie, La.
