She completed the Advanced Physician Leadership Program at Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and she received her master of business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Dominique is a New Orleanian, and she decided to return to her hometown and serve her community that shaped the force she has become after serving the Dallas area for 17 years in private practice. She wanted to serve as an OB hospitalist due to her strong belief that having an OB present on labor and delivery 24 hours a day, seven days a week, trained in obstetric emergencies is the only way to improve maternal morbidity and mortality. Her greatest desire is to improve the delivery of healthcare in Louisiana as a provider and as an administrator by advancing the business of healthcare and its delivery.
