Biography
In addition to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for children and adults, Dr. Jamison’s research focuses on sexual health equity and developing innovative strategies to prevent sexually transmitted infections, particularly among Black adolescents and young adults. His clinical experience spans academic medical centers and school-based health settings, where he integrates culturally responsive care with public health-informed interventions. At Ochsner, he looks forward to continuing his work at the intersection of community engagement, health equity and adolescent health, while also mentoring future physicians and advancing community-focused care through his academic role.
