Biography

Daniel Evans, DO, specializes in cardiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Evans earned his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his internship at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, and his residency at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His fellowships were completed at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, and Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Evans is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certifications in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Evans is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI). He has been recognized with several academic awards, including Associate Professor Emeritus at The Ohio State University and Master Faculty, Clinical Professor of Cardiology at Ohio Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Evans cherishes spending time with his family. He is also a passionate auto enthusiast, with a love for both late model performance vehicles and classic cars.
