Daniel Brown, MD, PhD, is a pediatric rheumatologist at Ochsner Health and sees patients at The Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Brown is board-certified in pediatric rheumatology and has clinical interest in caring for patients with autoimmune diseases including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and periodic fever syndromes.

Dr. Brown earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed pediatrics training at the University of California San Francisco in San Francisco, California, and a rheumatology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. As a New Orleans native, Dr. Brown is dedicated to Ochsner Health’s mission of addressing medical needs of his patients while also understanding individual needs and concerns. He’s eager to be back in New Orleans and caring for patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Brown enjoys running and playing modern board games.
