Daniela Castro, DO, specializes in pediatrics at Ochsner Health. Dr. Castro was born in Colombia and raised in Miami. With a deep passion for children's health and community care, Dr. Castro recently relocated to New Orleans to continue her medical practice.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida and earned her medical degree from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. She then completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami.

Dr. Castro brings a warm, compassionate approach to pediatric medicine. She is shaped by her vibrant upbringing in South Florida and her commitment to supporting families through every stage of childhood.
