Biography

Darshan Trivedi, MD, PhD, specializes in neuropathology, head and neck pathology and ophthalmic pathology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Trivedi received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where he also received a master's degree in pharmacology and a PhD in anatomy and neurobiology. He completed his residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he served with distinction as chief resident during his final year of training. After residency, he completed his fellowship in neuropathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist Hospital.

He has authored numerous papers in neuroscience, vascular physiology and neuropathology. Dr. Trivedi is one of only three board-certified and actively practicing neuropathologists in Louisiana. He has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020 and additionally serves as the director of Head and Neck Pathology and director of Anatomic Pathology Education. He is board-certified in anatomic pathology and neuropathology by the American Board of Pathology. He has been a fellow of the College of American Pathologists since 2021.
