Dr. Darshan Trivedi received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, where he also received a masters degree in pharmacology and a PhD in anatomy and neurobiology. He completed his residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he served with distinction as chief resident during his final year of training. After residency, he completed his fellowship in neuropathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist Hospital. _x000D_Dr. Trivedi specializes in oncologic neuropathology and ophthalmic pathology. He has authored numerous papers in neuroscience, vascular physiology and neuropathology. Dr. Trivedi has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020 and currently serves as the director of the Advanced Surgical Pathology Rotation for the LSU Pathology Residency Program. He is board-certified in anatomic pathology and neuropathology by the American Board of Pathology. He has been a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists since 2021.
