Daryl Stanga, PA-C, practices orthopedic surgery at Ochsner Health. He began his medical career as a Navy corpsman working in diving and undersea medicine. He trained as an Independent Duty Corpsman working in around the world with elite diving operations teams. He was stationed at the Navy Medical Research Institute and Navy Experimental Diving Unit working in saturation diving as a research subject, saturation diving supervisor, medical research supervisor, and principal investigator.

Daryl received an international patent for the development of an advanced care system for hyperbaric use treating critically ill patients in the hyperbaric chamber. He has published numerous papers and articles related to hyperbaric medicine.

Daryl has over 13 years of experience in orthopedics and orthopedic surgery both as a clinical provider and a surgical first assist. He works as a fracture liaison managing the fracture care clinic, identifying and treating low energy or pathological fractures related to osteoporosis.
