David Taylor, MD

Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He completed his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Taylor is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2000.

At this time in my life I am fortunate to have a number of excellent doctors. Dr. Taylor has been my pulmonologist for many years and he is the best of the best. He is a very experienced, knowledgeable and thorough physician. He has the gift of explaining clearly to patients their health issue, assistance in making decisions through “cost analysis”, and joining him as an ally towards better health. Although he is very professional and competent, Dr Taylor has a comforting and jovial bedside manner. He is a very gifted physician.
