Dr. Dayna L. Bolton is a board-certified podiatrist and wound specialist at Ochsner Health. She serves as the system chair of podiatry and medical director of wound care at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. A proud New Orleans native and alumnus of McDonough 35 Senior High School, Dr. Bolton has been caring for patients in the region since 2011.


Dr. Bolton earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Dillard University and completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Her residency at Boston Medical Center focused on foot surgery and advanced wound care, laying the foundation for passion in treating complex foot and wound conditions.


Dr. Bolton is board-certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Wound Management. She provides comprehensive care for diabetic foot complications, chronic wounds, sports injuries and forefoot surgical needs. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bolton is a sought-after speaker and enjoys presenting at events focused on healthcare leadership and improving patient outcomes across the Gulf South. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, especially her two children.
