Biography

Dean Yamaguchi, MD, specializes in vascular surgery at Ochsner Health. Dr. Yamaguchi was born in Metairie, Louisiana, and grew up in Southern California. He has been on faculty at East Carolina University in the Division of Vascular Surgery for the past twelve years. He obtained his medical degree from Vanderbilt University. He completed a general surgery residency at Shands/University of Florida and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama - Birmingham. Dr. Yamaguchi is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and vascular Surgery. He cares for all patients with vascular disease, including peripheral arterial occlusive disease and complex aortic pathology.
