Biography

Deana Knighten, NP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine at Ochsner Health. Deana was born in Canada and has been a resident of the United State for over 30 years. Her education includes an associate degree of science in Nursing from Louisiana State University at Eunice, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and also Master Degree of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and began practicing in 2012 at Cardiovascular Specialists in Lake Charles and Lake Charles Memorial Emergency Room. She has been a part of Ochsner Health Center - Jennings since 2020.
