Dr. Lafleur, a native of Ville Platte, received his bachelor of science degree in medical technology from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. He earned his doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where he was a four year member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society. He completed clinical rotations at The Eye Center at SCO in Memphis, Steen-Hall Eye Institute at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport and Bossier Family Eyecare in Bossier City. Dr. Lafleur is board certified by the American Board of Optometry and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2013. He practices primary care optometry with a special interest in glaucoma and ocular disease at Ochsner Health-The Grove in Baton Rouge.
