Edward “Eddie” Mannina, MD, MPH, MS, is an American Board of Radiology certified radiation oncologist, primarily practicing at the Slidell Regional Cancer Center campus of Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Mannina has expertise in the use of various therapeutic radiation techniques such as 3D conformal, intensity-modulated (IMRT) and RapidArc with a particular interest in the application of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). Dr. Mannina is experienced in the treatment of a wide variety of benign and malignant diseases including breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer and gastrointestinal cancers with a particular emphasis on employing the latest evidence-based advancements in cancer care to optimize treatment outcomes.

Following graduate school, Dr. Mannina earned his medical degree and masters in public health degree from Tulane Medical School and Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, before embarking on residency training at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He returned home to the greater New Orleans area and has practiced at the Slidell Regional Cancer Center since 2016.

Dr. Mannina is a dedicated physician and passionate patient advocate focused not just on healing but also educating his patients on their complex conditions. Outside of clinic, he enjoys taking in the sights of St. Tammany with his wife and children, sharing time with family and friends, and cheering on the hometown Saints. He is an avid sports fan, film enthusiast and student of history.
