Emily Crochet, PsyD, specializes in clinical child and adolescent psychology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Crochet earned her bachelor of science in psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2014. She went on to earn her master of science and doctor of psychology degrees from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. Following completion of her doctoral dissertation, Dr. Crochet completed her clinical internship at Wright State University/Dayton Children's Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Crochet is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Louisiana. She specializes in assessment and treatment services for children and adolescents with medical conditions. Throughout her work, Dr. Crochet is passionate about promoting coping, positive family relationships, healthy development and academic success for these patients. To help families in accomplishing these goals she offers psychological evaluation services including use of psychoeducational, developmental and neuropsychological testing. Dr. Crochet also provides hospital or clinic-based consultation-liaison services and treatment including individual and family-based psychotherapy.
