Emily Mase practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. She grew up in Austin, Texas, where she attended Westlake High School. In 2008, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Asheville where she was an NCAA Division I cross country/track and field athlete. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and graduated in 2015. After graduating, she worked in the Emergency Department as a critical care nurse and then a triage nurse for Ochsner's Nurse on Call Department. In 2022, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana. Although, she has experience and expertise in critical care, her passion is in patient-focused, preventative and holistic care. She focuses on primary care and family medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with family.
