Enrrique Mayes, FNP, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. He is a dedicated and compassionate family nurse practitioner who has been serving patients with Ochsner Lafayette General since 2014. Originally from New Orleans, Enrrique relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana, in 2008, and he has since become an integral part of the local healthcare community.



He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and completed his graduate studies at McNeese State University, where he received his degree as a family nurse practitioner. Enrrique is board-certified and committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across all stages of life.



Bilingual in English and Spanish, Enrrique values clear communication and inclusivity in his practice. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, trying new foods and spending quality time with his family and two beloved dogs.
