Erin K. Lunde, CNM, specializes in midwifery at Ochsner Health. Erin earned her Master of Science in nurse midwifery from Frontier Nursing University after earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University - New Orleans. Erin is board-certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Prior to becoming a certified nurse midwife, Erin was a labor and delivery nurse for four years, a birth and postpartum doula for seven years and a yoga teacher for ten years. With a holistic approach based in education, evidence-based practice and shared decision making Erin loves working with growing families in the community and supporting women of all ages in their goals for their health and wellbeing. Erin supports women throughout the lifespan as a midwife from menarche through menopause and all phases and stages in between. An IVF mom herself, Erin has a special place in her heart for women experiencing pregnancy after infertility or loss.
