Dr. Will Williams first came to New Orleans following graduation from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2013. He completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner. In 2017, Dr. Williams left Louisiana for fellowship training in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Vermont. After graduating in 2020, he returned to New Orleans. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Williams has pursued training in public and global health, pairing a master's of public health with his medical degree.

Dr. Williams is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He cares for complicated pregnancies and performs prenatal ultrasound, amniocentesis and genetic counseling. He works with a strong team to streamline care when challenges arise during pregnancy and childbirth, coordinating with medical specialists, geneticists, pediatricians, surgeons and families. Dr. Williams is an advocate for choice in birth, having worked closely with other Ob-Gyns, nurse midwives, nurses, doulas and family physicians to optimize the birth experience for families.

Dr. Williams' clinical interests include fetal cardiac disease, preexisting maternal medical conditions and intensive care during pregnancy. His research interests include quality improvement, aimed at preventing maternal morbidity/mortality and building health equity in both local and international settings. In his free time, Dr. Williams enjoys hiking, gardening and festivals.
