Biography
Gabrielle Weyer, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in nephrology at Ochsner Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in 2012, followed by a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the LSU School of Nursing in New Orleans in 2015. In 2019, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus as a family nurse practitioner at the same institution.
Gabby has dedicated her nurse practitioner career to nephrology since 2019. In September 2024, she earned her official certification as a nephrology nurse practitioner through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission. Her clinical interests include managing diabetic and hypertensive kidney disease, treating kidney stones, and exploring the field of renal genetics, with a particular focus on Fabry disease.
