Dr. George Yousef received his medical degree from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. Following this, he completed his internship and residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He also completed his fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Marshall University.

Dr. Yousef is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2019 and practicing medicine since 2007.

Dr. Yousef’s expertise is in cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular interventions, valvular heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmia. Dr. Yousef is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was elected as Fellow in Training Section Chair for the West Virginia American College of Cardiology.
