Gerri Mack, MSN, FNP-C, AGACNP, practices as a hospitalist at Ochsner Health. Ms. Mack brings a diverse and well-rounded clinical background, combining her experience in urgent care medicine with advanced expertise in acute inpatient management. She provides comprehensive care for medically complex patients, including those with cardiovascular conditions, respiratory illnesses, infectious diseases, endocrine disorders and post-operative medical needs. Her blended background allows her to deliver efficient, thorough assessment and high-quality care across fast-paced and high-acuity environments.

Ms. Mack earned her Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, in 2022. She is board-certified in family practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed her adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner post-master's certificate at Loyola University New Orleans, expanding her clinical scope to include the full management of acutely and critically ill adult patients.

Ms. Mack is an active member of both the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She remains committed to continued learning and staying up-to-date on emerging research and evidence-based medical advancements.

Dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, Ms. Mack focuses on understanding the individual needs, concerns and goals of each patient and their family. She is committed to delivering safe, effective and collaborative care throughout the hospitalization experience. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2025.

Outside of medicine, Ms. Mack enjoys attending concerts, spending time with her family and listening to music, which she considers essential for balance and personal well-being.
