Dr. Gregory Eckholdt earned his medical degree from LSU and completed his internship and residency at Ochsner before completing fellowships in vascular and cardiothoracic surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Eckholdt is board certified in general, vascular, and cardiothoracic surgery and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2002. His professional interests include complex coronary artery bypass and endografts for abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms. He also performs percutaneous valve replacement and procedures for limb salvage for vascular disease. He practices at Ochsner Health Center - Covington and Ochsner Health Center - Slidell.
