Holly Martin Vinet, MD, is a pediatrician at Ochsner Health. Dr. Vinet graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her residency at the University of South Florida-Department of Pediatrics in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Vinet is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Vinet says she truly enjoy spending time with her patients' parents to educate them and empower them to fully understand their child's medical needs. Pediatrics is special because it allows the pediatrician to include the child and their family in medical decisions, medical education and medical success. Pediatric hospitalist medicine and newborn care allow the pediatrician to work as a team with the family, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, child life specialists and all involved with the common goal of patient safety and health, Dr. Vinet says.
