Biography
Dr. Molinero completed his residency in pediatrics and pediatric neurology at Children's Hospital at Montefiore / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He pursued advanced fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology with a focus on pediatric epilepsy where he gained extensive experience in EEG interpretation, epilepsy surgery evaluation, and management of refractory seizures.
His clinical interests include early-onset epilepsy, genetic epilepsies, epilepsy surgery evaluation, and neuromodulation therapies such as VNS, DBS and RNS. He is also committed to research and education, contributing to ongoing studies aimed at improving outcomes for children with treatment-resistant epilepsy. Dr. Molinero is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with families, primary care providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.
