Biography

Dr. Jamie Lovitt Emejulu is a board-certified family medicine physician providing primary care in Ochsner Health’s internal medicine department in New Orleans. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Louisiana State University in 2020, and she has been with Ochsner since September 2020.

Originally from Colorado, Dr. Lovitt Emejulu has called New Orleans home since 2004. While she still enjoys hiking and mountain climbing, she now explores the city with her husband and two young daughters, trading music festivals for playgrounds while discovering New Orleans through fresh eyes.
