Dr. El-Dahr received her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Following this, she completed her internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and residency at the University of Virginia. She then completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology and pediatric rheumatology at the University of Virginia. She joined the staff at Ochsner in February 2021 and has practiced medicine in New Orleans since 1990. Dr. El-Dahr's expertise is in pediatric allergy with a focus on food allergy and also in the care of children with rheumatologic disorders.
