Jeannie L. Nguyen, PA-C, practices vascular surgery at Ochsner Health. Jeannie is a West Bank and Gretna native; in fact, she was born at the very same hospital she practices at today (then, it was Meadowcrest). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Xavier University of Louisiana in partnership with Ochsner Health. Jeannie is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and she is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as the Society of Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant section. Jeannie treats a variety of vascular pathologies such as peripheral artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid stenosis, in addition to venous insufficiency and varicose veins. Jeannie is passionate about delivering individualized, patient-centered care and she is committed to treating her patients as she would treat her family. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2024. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, listening to live music and spending quality time with her friends and family.
