Jeffrey Fontenot, MD, practices internal medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Fontenot has experience in preventative care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in adults of all ages. Dr. Fontenot earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2017. He completed his internal medicine residency with Louisiana State University in Lafayette, Louisiana, in 2021. He is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2021. Dr. Fontenot is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. He has been practicing at Ochsner Lafayette General since 2021. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fishing, cooking and spending time with his wife and two sons.
