Biography
Jessica Dahle, MD, is an endocrine surgical oncologist at Ochsner Health who is dedicated to treating patients in New Orleans, Louisiana. She specializes in comprehensive care for complex endocrine disorders, expertly managing conditions of the adrenal, parathyroid and thyroid glands. Her innovative treatments include robotic surgical techniques for adrenal tumors and pheochromocytoma, alongside minimally invasive surgery for hyperparathyroidism and thyroid cancer.
As a vital member of the multidisciplinary endocrine team at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Dahle helps her patients achieve the best possible results. She brings a confident, compassionate approach to expert health management, ensuring every patient receives a personalized surgical care plan.
Dr. Dahle earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and her Master of Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University. She completed her general surgery residency at University of Massachusetts Medical School - Baystate in Springfield, Massachusetts, and her endocrine surgery fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Dahle is recognized with a Focused Practice Designation from the American Board of Surgery in adult complex thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Dr. Dahle grew up in Connecticut and attended Syracuse University, where she played field hockey. She moved to New Orleans in 2021 after completing her surgical training. While she misses New England’s four seasons, she has embraced New Orleans as her home and enjoys year-round golfing, running along the streetcar line and exploring the local food scene. She also enjoys traveling to visit family and looks forward to summer beach trips and winter skiing with her siblings, niece, nephew and cousins.
