Jessica Porter specializes in medical oncology at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. She then received a Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, formally Our Lady of the Lake College, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While in training, she completed clinical rotations in internal medicine, pediatric hematology oncology, general surgery, family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, orthopedics, psychology, urgent care and obstetrics and gynecology. Jessica is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, Oncology Nursing Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology and Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
