Biography
Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Dr. Miller is actively involved in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery research and education. He enjoys actively teaching the Tulane University Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery residents in the operating room and in clinic. He has authored numerous publications in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery journals. Dr. Miller additionally presents his research at national meetings. He has particular interest in facial paralysis and fluid dynamics associated with nasal airflow.
Dr. Miller has dedicated his career to surgery of the face. He has a deep understanding of how vital the face is to one's identity, function, self-esteem, and quality of life. He is driven by a pursuit of excellence to help his patients every day.
Dr. Miller is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He looks forward to getting to know you at your next visit to Ochsner.
