Jonathan Riffle, DO, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Ochsner Health in New Orleans and Metairie, Louisiana. He specializes in neurosurgery, spine surgery and the treatment of spinal cord injuries. He provides surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the brain, spine, spinal cord and nervous system. His areas of expertise include the evaluation and treatment of herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, spinal cord compression, spinal tumors, neck and back conditions and traumatic spinal cord injuries. He also offers minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal decompression, spinal fusion and other advanced neurosurgical procedures. Dr. Riffle’s interests include robotics, trauma and oncology.

Dr. Riffle earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Georgia Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014 and completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. He also completed a complex adult spine fellowship with a focus on adult spinal deformity and minimally invasive techniques.
