Dr. Keen is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with expertise in the treatment of a broad range of neurosurgical disorders of the brain and spine. He believes in patient- and family-centered care.
He received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine, where he developed an appreciation for spinal biomechanics and the need for a multi-disciplinary approach to treat spinal disorders and pain. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Loma Linda Medical Center in southern California. His other interests include neuro-oncology, for which he completed an enfolded skull base fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, WA and a Neurosurgical Oncology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA with Drs. Jeffrey Olson and Nelson Oyesiku. He has authored and contributed to several scientific publications and book chapters on various brain and spine topics.
