Biography

Katherine Dureau, MD, specializes in pediatrics at Ochsner Health. Dr. Katherine Dureau received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following this, she completed her internship and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. She went on to complete a clinical fellowship in pediatric urgent care medicine at Emory University. Before joining Ochsner in 2019, she practiced in the pediatric emergency department at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Dr. Dureau listen to the feedback and listen to us a patients and parents. She answer all the questions and didn't rush the family off. Every though it was back to school season and had a good amount of patients.

I was there for a meet and greet with Dr. Dureau. She did a great job of explaining how the clinic operated and what to expect as a new parent.
