Katie Hollingsworth, FNP-C, practices hematology oncology at Ochsner Health. Mrs. Hollingsworth has expertise in performing bone marrow biopsies and symptom management for a variety of multiple myeloma treatments and other hematologic malignancies. She offers comprehensive care for multiple myeloma with experience in pre-and post-autologous stem cell transplant and cellular therapy care.


Mrs. Hollingsworth earned her Master of Science in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, in 2022. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also certified as a blood and marrow transplant nurse, and she spent seven years as a transplant and chemotherapy nurse prior to advancing her career. Additionally, she has completed the End-of-Life Nursing Consortium’s Train the Trainer in Palliative Care. Mrs. Hollingsworth actively participates in the Oncology Nursing Society and Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology to stay updated on advancements in her field.


Mrs. Hollingsworth is dedicated to addressing the holistic medical needs of her patients while understanding individual priorities and concerns for care. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2024. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, photography and art, with a degree in graphic design.
