Kesler Bourgoyne, MD, specializes in allergy and immunology at Ochsner Health and cares for patients of all ages, welcoming both pediatric and adult patients. While he treats a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions, his clinical interests include atopic dermatitis (eczema) and the management of severe asthma. He is passionate about providing the latest evidence-based treatments, with a special focus on addressing healthcare disparities.

Dr. Bourgoyne earned his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology. In addition to his medical training, he earned a master’s degree in pharmacology from Tulane University. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Originally from Plaquemine, Louisiana, Dr. Bourgoyne is a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and values caring for patients in the community he calls home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
