Kristen Stevens attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she received her a bachelor of science in nursing in 2011 and a doctor of nursing practice degree in 2017. Prior to joining the hepatology and liver transplant team, Kristen worked as an RN in the intensive care units at Ochsner Medical Center for six years. Kristen is board certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
