Kristin Van Hook, MD, specializes in pediatric pulmonology at Ochsner Health. As a native New Orleanian, Dr. Van Hook is a key member of the pediatric pulmonology team at Ochsner. Dr. Van Hook graduated Cum Laude from Tulane as an undergrad, then attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center for her medical degree and her master's of public health. She completed her general pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt and her pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital in 2006. Her natural leadership provided her the opportunity to serve as division chief at Nemours Children's clinic as well as the cystic fibrosis center director prior to joining Ochsner in 2012.
