Biography
Laura Matrana earned her Master’s of Nursing Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans in May 2016. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in December 2010.
Ms. Matrana is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner and joined the endocrine department in 2016. Her area of special interest is intensive diabetes management in the clinic and hospital setting. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
