Biography

Dr. Laura Place practices pediatrics at Ochsner Health. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University located in Atlanta. She then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Place went on to complete a Pediatrics Internship and Residency at San Antonio Military Pediatric Residency Program. She is board certified in pediatrics. She joined Ochsner after serving as a pediatrician in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. She has special interest in adolescent medicine and preventative care.
