Laurel Lovell, PA-C, is an adult gerontology primary care physician assistant at Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus in Pensacola, Florida, specializing in neurology and memory disorders. With a strong foundation in and knowledge of senior care, Laurel focuses on adults with cognitive, neurological and psychiatric conditions.

Laurel is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She takes a patient-centered approach to preventive care, chronic disease management and improving overall quality of life.

She earned her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Alabama and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Florida. Before joining Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus, she served as a physician assistant in a memory care setting.

“I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with my patients while helping them stay healthy, independent and age gracefully,” she says. Outside of her clinical practice, Laurel enjoys baking, reading and traveling. She also loves spending time outdoors, going to the beach and walking nature trails.
