Lauren Hulin is a Registered Dietitian at Ochsner Fitness Center in New Orleans. She approaches nutritional consults with the belief that health embodies one’s mind, body, and soul, and that staying active in faith and fitness, along with nourishing your body well translates to a healthier, happier you.
While meeting one-on-one with Lauren, she will help you identify your specific goals and talk through any barriers that may interfere with them. We work together to create an individual meal plan that will fit in to your lifestyle that will still yield the results you wish to see.
Prior to her current role at Ochsner Fitness Center, Lauren was the NOLA dietitian for Eat Fit, a nonprofit initiative of Ochsner Health that highlights the better-for-you items right on restaurant menus, helping to make it effortless to make the healthy choice the easy choice. She also has previous experience in the clinical setting as a registered dietitian in the Transplant unit of Ochsner Health.
Lauren has appeared on WWL-TV, FOX 8, and Great day Louisiana. She is a member of KINE industry board at Tulane University and a Healthy for Life facilitator with the American Heart Association. She has presented numerous nutrition workshops and has been the keynote speaker at Benchmark Hospitality Conference. Her zest for life and passion for helping others shines in everything that she does.
Born and raised in the greater New Orleans area, Lauren graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science and completed her dietetic internship at Tulane University in New Orleans.
