Lindsey Thompson, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics at Ochsner Health. She has extensive experience in both clinical and surgical orthopedic care, including diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, performing joint injections, casting and splinting, and assisting in surgery.



Lindsey earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She has worked in orthopedic clinics and operating rooms, managing patient care from diagnosis through post-surgical recovery. Her expertise includes overseeing clinics autonomously, interpreting diagnostic imaging, providing procedural treatments, and first-assisting in orthopedic surgeries.



Originally from Thibodaux, Louisiana, Lindsey enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with family in her free time.
