Lisa Schuler, MHA, PT, WCC

Lisa Newell Schuler, PT, MHA, WCC joined Ochsner Medical Center-New Orleans as Staff Physical Therapist with a specialty in wound care in March 2003. She graduated from LSU School of Physical Therapy in New Orleans with a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy. She received her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliette, Illinois.

Mrs. Schuler became a Diplomat of the American Academy of Wound Management in 2001. She achieved the designation of Wound Care Certified through the National Alliance of Wound Management in 2012. Mrs. Schuler previously worked as a wound specialist at East Jefferson General Hospital as part of a multidisciplinary wound care team. She has taught principles of wound care to physicians, therapists, and nurses nationally and has served as a clinical instructor for various Medical and Physical Therapy students.
