Dr. Logan Davies is a board-certified physician who specializes in internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky where he graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Davies attended the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics, earning his Master of Business Administration degree in 2010. He simultaneously completed his medical education at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, earning his Doctorate of Medicine degree in 2011. Dr. Davies went on to perform an internship and residency in internal medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans where he was selected to serve as chief resident of internal medicine.
Dr. Davies has held several leadership positions locally prior to joining Ochsner including Associate Program Director, Tulane Internal Medicine Residency and Associate Chief of Staff for Clinical Operations at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (New Orleans VA). Since joining Ochsner, Dr. Davies has served in the capacity of Unit Based Medical Director, Observation Unit, Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans and as the Vice Chair of Hospital Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans. He has a special clinical interest in care coordination and hospital operations. In his non-clinical time, Dr. Davies enjoys all things New Orleans, fitness, and traveling.
