Dr. Lyndsey Adams received her medical degree from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (UP-KYCOM) in Pikeville, KY in 2017. She went on to complete her internship and residency at the Southern Illinois University (SIU) Family Medicine program in Carbondale, IL. She served as chief resident of her program for 2 years.

Dr. Adams is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) and has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2020. Dr. Adams treats a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions and performs osteopathic manipulation to address musculoskeletal ailments. She has a special clinical interest in the connection between emotional well-being and physical health. Dr. Adams is a Westbank native with Cajun roots and is excited about the privilege of serving the community in which she grew up. She enjoys a good book, watching the Saints, cooking and baking, collecting vinyl records, traveling and immersing herself in all things New Orleans.
